Located in the highly sort-after Southern Mallee Region, the South Australian Potato Company has 30,000 acres of prime potato growing farmland spread across South Australia and Victoria. This complements our Virginia operations, based 20kms north of Adelaide. We also have strategic partnerships with a nationwide network of independent farmers. These partnerships ensure constant year-round supply and access to as many varieties as possible at any one time. Potatoes are harvested in the early hours of each morning and sent directly our to washing facility for processing. This supply chain ensures absolute freshness and quality.
The South Australian Potato Company is in a fortunate position in that 95% of our water is sourced from underground bores in non Murray Darling Basin (MDB) dependant regions. Our strategy is to continually purchase potato growing farms and water licenses in South Australia and Victoria to meet our strategic objectives.
